A curiosity of mine... one of my favorite bands of the eighties was Warlock, you had their guitarist Rudy Graf in Rage for a while, do you know what has happened to him?
Something bad... and I'm really sorry for him.
Why?
Rudy hasn't been a lucky guy. Since he left Rage, after "Execution Guaranteed", Rudy tried to give an american turn to his career. He's been creating and splitting bands for years trying to make a band with an american sound. He never made it. I think he's been trying for years, I think up to the beginning of the eighties. He sadly never found the right people for his projects, nor a deal. All these flops deeply hurt him, and alcohol and drugs destroyed him. We met again for ten years anniversary gig. We invited him on stage to play some old songs with us... apart from the fact that he didn't remember them, whch may happen since many years passed, the trouble was that Rudy was barely able to keep the guitar in his hands. We played a song all together and there was a moment for a small solo... he didn't even manage to play two notes without messing up... I watched him and he seemed to be almost crying. I'm really sorry for him, he's been really unlucky, what could I say more?
